Get Ready - And Win!

This summer, Clinton County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is giving local residents a chance to win a fully-stocked emergency kit to help you and your family stay prepared. The kit includes supplies donated by generous community partners like Walmart, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, and others.

Why We're Doing This

Preparedness starts at home. Whether it’s severe weather, power outages, or unexpected emergencies, having a ready-to-go kit can make all the difference. Our goal is to help you get started—and maybe even inspire your neighbors to do the same.

What’s Inside the Kit

Each kit is packed with essential emergency supplies such as:

  • Flashlight and batteries

  • First-aid supplies

  • Water storage and food rations

  • Emergency blanket

  • NOAA Weather Radio

  • Basic tools

  • And more!

Who Can Enter

  • Must be a resident of Clinton County, Ohio

  • One entry per household

  • Must be 18 years or older

The Drawing – Saturday, July 12, 2025

On Saturday, July 12, Clinton County EMA will use a random selection tool powered by AI to pick a winner from the list of valid online entries.

Here’s the twist:


➡️ When we call the selected number, the person must answer the phone by saying:
🗣️ "I'm getting Ready with Clinton County EMA!"👈

 

❌ If you answer the phone any other way—or don’t answer—we’ll move on to the next entry on the randomized list.

 

Never heard of something like this? Ask your grandparents about “Bob-ah-boohey, Bob-ah-boohey, Bob-ah-boohey” from old-timey radio call-ins. It's all part of the fun!

I'm Getting Ready with Clinton County EMA!

By submitting this form, you agree to the following:

  • Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older and a resident of Clinton County, Ohio. One entry per household.

  • Entry Deadline: All entries must be received by 11:59 PM on Friday, July 11, 2025. Late or incomplete entries will not be considered.

  • Winner Selection: On Saturday, July 12, 2025, a winner will be selected at random using an AI-based tool. Entries will be assigned random numbers, and calls will be placed in that order.

  • How to Win: You must answer the call and immediately say: “I'm getting Ready with Clinton County EMA.” Failure to do so will result in the next number being called.

  • No Purchase Necessary: There is no fee to enter.

  • Prize: One emergency kit containing preparedness supplies. No cash value.

  • Publicity: By entering, you grant Clinton County EMA permission to use your name, photo, and/or video from the drawing for public communications, including social media.

  • Privacy: Contact information will only be used for this drawing and will not be sold or shared.

  • Disqualification: Entries may be disqualified for providing false information, violating terms, or engaging in abusive conduct.

  • Right to Modify: Clinton County EMA reserves the right to modify, cancel, or terminate this giveaway at any time if unforeseen circumstances arise.

  • Void Where Prohibited: This contest is void where prohibited by law.
