BOX-14 has been invited to support the Fire FLIR Live Burn Training hosted by the Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District (CWJFD) on Saturday, June 28, 2025. This is a great opportunity to assist local firefighters during a high-heat, live-fire evolution and to get additional hands-on training in incident scene setup.
🔹 Date: Saturday, June 28
🔹 Time to Report: 11:00 AM
🔹 Location: CWJFD Station
📍 82 Spring Hill Rd, Clarksville, OH 45113
✅ Reporting Instructions for BOX-14 Members:
Arrival & Parking: Please park at the rear of the fire station. Enter the gated area and rally near the BOX-14 vehicle by the classroom area.
Dress Code: Wear your BOX-14 shirt and dress for the weather. This is a summer outdoor training, so bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and stay hydrated.
Meal Provided: Lunch will be provided to all BOX-14 personnel supporting the training.
Mission Focus:BOX-14 will provide responder support and conduct a scene setup training exercise alongside the real-world fire training. This is a good chance to sharpen our skills in establishing staging, hydration, and accountability support during active operations.
🔥 Training Background:
Firefighters will be using the training tower for live burns as part of thermal imaging training with FLIR cameras. The goal is to locate and rescue victims in simulated high-heat, low-visibility environments.
This is an ideal support mission to gain field experience while helping our local fire service partners. If you're available, we encourage you to attend and contribute to a safe and effective training environment.
