Community Notice: Increased Emergency Responder Presence in Blanchester
Tuesday, December 16 & Wednesday, December 17

Blanchester residents and visitors should expect a visible increase in emergency responder activity in the village on Tuesday (Dec. 16) and Wednesday (Dec. 17) due to funeral services and related events for a local resident.
To support public safety, traffic management, and emergency access, the following agencies will have personnel operating in and around the community during these times:
Blanchester Police Department
District 8-1 Blanchester-Marion Fire Blanchester
District 8-2 Blanchester EMS
Local Fire and Mutual Aid Partners
Traffic and public safety support personnel
This presence is planned and intentional and should not be interpreted as an active emergency.
Why You’ll See More Responders

Services are being held in Blanchester for Charles Jacob Wayne “Charlie” Pell, a longtime member of the community. Out of respect for the family and to safely manage increased traffic, pedestrian movement, and ceremonial elements, responders will be positioned at key locations.
