Debris Pickup

Updated: Oct 1

Clinton County Debris Collection Information

This page will be updated as local communities release their debris collection plans.

Please check back frequently for the latest information on debris collection services in your area. Until official details are provided by your community, we encourage residents to safely manage debris on their property.

Current Debris Collection Status:

  • City of Wilmington (Monday the 7th of October until complete*). See the release below for details, including bringing organic storm debris to the landfill. Pickup will begin on Monday and continue until finished. The City of Wilmington asks residents to have all debris out by Monday, October 7. This is not a rolling deadline, so please avoid placing debris out after this date.

As soon as your local jurisdiction provides details on debris collection services and instructions, they will be posted here. In the meantime, please:

  • Organize woody debris into manageable piles.

    • Must be in manageable pieces no more than six inches in diameter and less than six (6) feet in length.

    • Placed at curbside no later than 12 am (midnight) as crews will only be able to make on pass per day.

  • Avoid placing debris in the roadway or near power lines.

  • Follow all local guidelines once they are available to ensure your debris is collected.
