This is your Heads Up Message for impact weather for today (25 June 2026) and tomorrow (26 June 2026).
Weather Update: Storm Chances Today and Friday
Clinton County has two rounds of weather to watch: scattered storms this afternoon and evening, then a heavier rain and thunderstorm setup on Friday.
Thursday: Severe Weather Possible This Afternoon and Evening
Clinton County is under a MARGINAL Risk (1 of 5) for severe weather today. Storms may develop between 3 PM and 9 PM.

The main concerns are:
Damaging winds: 5% risk
Large hail: 5% risk
Brief tornado: ~2% risk, mainly in the northeast part of the county, including the general Port William to Sabina area

Not everyone will see storms, but any stronger storm could produce gusty winds, hail, lightning, and brief heavy rain. Have more than one way to receive weather warnings this afternoon and evening.
Friday: Heavy Rain and Additional Storms Possible
Friday brings another round of concern for Clinton County. General thunderstorm chances begin during the afternoon, generally between 2 PM and 6 PM, and continue into Friday night.

The severe weather risk appears lower than today, but a stronger storm cannot be ruled out. The main concern for Friday is heavy rainfall.
Clinton County is included in a Slight Risk for excessive rainfall, which means there is about a 15% chance of rainfall heavy enough to cause flash flooding within the risk area. Multiple rounds of rain are possible Friday afternoon through Friday night.
Low-lying roads, poor drainage areas, and places that commonly hold water should be watched closely. Never drive through water-covered roads.
Stay weather aware today and Friday, and be ready to act if a warning is issued.
Plan. Prepare. Protect.
