  • The initial round of storms this morning are not concerning.

  • Severe thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon into the evening across the Ohio Valley.

  • Damaging winds and large hail are likely, some which could be significant (70 mph+ and 2"+). A few tornadoes are possible, some of which could be strong.

  • Severe weather is most likely between 4 pm to 12 am.

  • Today is a day to be weather aware.

  • Significant severe weather (damaging winds greater than 70 mph & 2"+ hail) will also be likely with the strongest storms.

  • Severe weather is most likely between 5PM to 11PM.

NWS Hazardous Weather Outlook message for Sunday: A few severe storms will be possible late Sunday afternoon into Sunday night. Damaging wind and large hail will be the primary threats, although an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
