SR-350 Update 11

Residents, Businesses, and Community Members,

We are pleased to announce that asphalt paving operations on State Route 350 began today. This marks another major milestone in the improvement project as crews transition from the Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) phase to placing the new asphalt pavement.

Tentatively, paving operations are expected to continue through August 5, weather and production schedules permitting. Please note that this schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment availability, material deliveries, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Work Hours

  • Monday through Tuesday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Beginning Wednesday (tentatively): Double-shift operations will begin, with crews working 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, weather and production schedules permitting.

Working around the clock will allow crews to complete paving operations more efficiently and reduce the overall duration of the project.

What Residents Should Expect

  • Continued road closures within the active construction zone.

  • Periodic delays and temporary restrictions to driveway access while paving equipment is working directly in front of homes and businesses.

  • Fresh asphalt that must remain undisturbed until it has cooled and is safe for traffic.

  • Increased construction activity due to extended work hours beginning Wednesday.

Important Safety Information

For the safety of the public and our construction crews, "NO THROUGH TRAFFIC" signs and traffic barrels are the primary indicators of an active construction work zone. If you encounter these signs and barrels, do not enter the work zone. These closures are in place to protect both the traveling public and construction personnel.

Please remember to:

  • Follow all posted signs and instructions from construction personnel.

  • Do not drive through freshly placed asphalt or enter closed work areas.

  • Reduce speeds near the work zone and remain alert for workers and heavy equipment.

  • Plan extra travel time and use alternate routes whenever possible.

We appreciate your continued patience, cooperation, and understanding as we complete this important improvement project. Every effort is being made to complete the work safely, efficiently, and with as little disruption as possible.

Thank you for your continued support as we improve State Route 350.
