State Route 350 Improvement Project Update
Residents and Community Members,
As part of the ongoing improvements to State Route 350, crews successfully completed Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) test strips on June 29, 2026, to evaluate the reclamation process, material performance, and roadway stability.
Currently, full production is tentatively scheduled to begin approximately 8–10 days following the test strip completion, pending positive test results. These results must meet project specifications before moving forward with full roadway reclamation operations.
Once production begins, residents in the work area should expect temporary traffic impacts, including lane restrictions, construction equipment entering and exiting the roadway, and possible short-term delays. Access to homes and driveways will be maintained whenever possible; however, brief interruptions may occur while crews are working directly in front of properties.
The test strip area will remain open for residential access only and is suitable for limited light vehicle traffic only. Motorists are urged to use caution, reduce speeds, and remain alert, as roadway conditions may vary and construction activities may continue nearby.
As part of upcoming operations, trackless tack coat will be applied in preparation for paving. Residents are reminded to avoid driving on the tack coat while it has a glossy black/brown appearance, as it has not fully cured and may be unsafe or cause material tracking. Access should only be used during this time in the event of an emergency.
For everyone’s safety, please obey posted signage, watch for flaggers and construction personnel, and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue working to improve SR 350 for the community. Additional updates will be provided as construction progresses.
