SR-350 Update 9

SR 350 Road Improvement Project

We would like to provide an update regarding the ongoing Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) operations on State Route 350.

Barring any weather delays, the FDR process is anticipated to be completed on Saturday, July 18.

As construction progresses, the direction of work has changed. Current and Future operations will proceed from SR 134 toward SR 73, rather than from SR 73 toward SR 134 as previously anticipated. This change is necessary to accommodate the next phase of construction and maintain project efficiency.

State Route 350 remains closed to through traffic for the duration of construction. In addition, the active construction zone is closed to all traffic other than authorized construction vehicles and personnel. For the safety of both the public and our crews, we ask that motorists respect all road closure signs and barricades and avoid entering the active work area.

The section of roadway between Farmers Road and SR 73 is currently in the curing phase. During this time, traffic should be limited to only when absolutely necessary to protect the newly reclaimed roadway. If travel through this section is unavoidable, vehicles should be under 5 tons whenever possible.

Please also be aware that crews will be applying trackless tack as part of the paving preparation process. If the tack coat is wet, do not drive on it, as this can damage the roadway surface and track asphalt material onto vehicles and adjacent roadways.

Construction hours remain 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, weather permitting. Motorists and residents should continue to expect construction traffic, equipment entering, leaving, and parking in the work zone, lane restrictions where applicable, and occasional delays near the project limits.

We appreciate your continued patience, cooperation, and support throughout this project. By following the posted closures and work zone restrictions, you are helping us complete these improvements as safely and efficiently as possible for everyone.
