SR-350 Update No. 1

Updated: Jun 12

The first update provided by ODOT for the State Route 350 project between SR-134 and SR-73:

IMPORTANT ROAD IMPROVEMENT NOTICE

SR 350 RECONSTRUCTION & RESURFACING PROJECT

WHERE?

SR. 350 between SR. 134 and SR.73

WHEN WILL WORK OCCUR?

Road Closure Period: June 8, 2026, to July 31, 2026 (Weather and construction conditions permitting)

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

  • Full Depth Roadway Reclamation (7-inch milling and roadway stabilization operation)

  • Asphalt Paving

  • Pavement Marking Installation

  • Guardrail and Shoulder Improvements

WHAT SHOULD RESIDENTS EXPECT?

  • Through traffic will be detoured.

  • Residents will continue to have access to their homes.

  • Temporary asphalt wedges and transitions will be installed at roadway intersections and driveways following the initial 7-inch milling operation to help maintain access.

  • Mail delivery will continue.

  • Trash collection will continue.

  • Emergency services will maintain access.

  • School transportation access will be maintained.

  • Construction equipment

  • Dust and noise

  • Delays entering and exiting driveways

  • Periodic flagging operations

  • Reduced speeds in work zones

HOW WILL THIS AFFECT RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES?

Portions of the roadway will be reconstructed using the Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) process. During this process, the roadway base must be cured before it can safely carry traffic. During this operation, crews will mill and stabilize the existing roadway before allowing it to cure. Residents and businesses within active work zones may experience temporary access limitations, delays entering or exiting driveways, rough roadway conditions, and changing traffic patterns. Every effort will be made to maintain local access while the reclamation work is completed.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN!

For the safety of residents, workers, and motorists:

  • Follow all posted detour routes.

  • Obey construction signs.

  • Watch for trucks entering and exiting the work zone.

  • Reduce speeds in work areas.
