NWS forecasts the potential for severe weather in our region Saturday, with Clinton County split on Sunday (6 August) for SLIGHT risk (southern half) and MARGINAL risk (northern half). Saturday tornado risk is mainly in the Indiana area and SW border of Ohio.

Storms on Sunday may reach severe level if:

  • Earlier storms clear out quickly and leave clear skies

  • Morning mist/dew, combined with bright sunlight on cloudless sky

If skies remain clouding Sunday morning, then the risk for severe weather will be much lower.
