Your Voice, Your Plan: Clinton County Hazard Mitigation Plan Open for Public Review
Clinton County is in the final stretch of updating its 2025 Hazard Mitigation Plan, and your input could make all the difference.

Hazard mitigation planning is how we reduce the long-term risk to people and property from disasters like floods, severe storms, utility failures, drought, and more. The updated plan outlines the threats facing Clinton County and identifies which actions and projects should be prioritized to protect our communities.
This plan isn’t just a document for emergency managers—it’s a blueprint that guides how your township, village, or city can reduce future risks. From improving stormwater systems to expanding backup power capacity at critical facilities, the projects listed in this plan can save lives and reduce the financial burden on local government and families alike.
Why Your Comments Matter
Each community is unique. What affects Sabina may not be a top concern in New Vienna. What’s needed in Blanchester might look different than in Martinsville. That’s why your review and feedback are essential. You know your roads, your homes, your neighborhoods—and you should have a say in how they’re protected.
Providing feedback helps ensure the plan:
Reflects your community’s priorities.
Identifies gaps in current strategies.
Supports equitable and effective risk reduction for all residents.
